Surah Al-Ahzab (The Clans)

Dynamic translation

(33:6) The prophet is closer to those who acknowledge than themselves, and his wives are mothers to them. Allah's decree to those who acknowledge and the emigrants is that before they help their relatives, they have taken care of their own families first. This has been written in the Record.

(33:6) النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ وَأُوْلُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ إِلَّا أَن تَفْعَلُوا إِلَى أَوْلِيَائِكُم مَّعْرُوفًا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا
