(3:123) God had granted you victory at Badr while you had been the lesser, so be aware of God that you may be sincere.

(3:123) وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
