Surah Sheba (Saba)

Dynamic translation

(34:33) Those who were weak will say to those who were mighty: "No, it was your scheming night and day, when you commanded us to reject Allah, and to set up equals to Him." They will be filled with regret, when they see the retribution. We will place shackles around the necks of those who rejected. Are they not being requited for what they used to do?

(34:33) وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَادًا وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
