In the Quran

(2:130) Who would abandon the creed of Abraham except one who stops his psychic (development)? We have staffed (Arab. اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ, iṣ'ṭafaynāhu) him in this world, and in the Hereafter, he is of the reformers.
