Dynamic translation
(2:118) Those who do not know said: "If only Allah would speak to us, or a ideas would come to us!" The people before them have said similar things. Their hearts are so similar! We have clarified the ideas for a community who have conviction.

(2:118) وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ لَوْلاَ يُكَلِّمُنَا اللّهُ أَوْ تَأْتِينَا آيَةٌ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
