Dynamic translation

(12:18) And they came with false (evidence) - a bloody shirt, and he said: "Oh no! In (this) decision you (succumbed) to flatter of your ego, but (to show) patience is a beautiful (decision). And (only) Allah should be prayed for help against what you have recounted.""

(12:18) وَجَآؤُوا عَلَى قَمِيصِهِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ
