Al-Baqara (The Heifer)

Dynamic translation

(2:27) who violate accord with Allah, after it has been covenanted, and cut what Allah marshaled (to keep) in connection, and scathe on the earth. Such are they - losers.

Translation of Edip Yuksel

(2:27) The ones who break their pledge to God after making the covenant, and they sever what God had ordered to be joined. Moreover, they make corruption on earth; these are the losers.

(2:27) الَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
