Surah As-Sajda (The Prostration)

Dynamic translation

(32:11) Say, "The angel of death that has been assigned to you will take you, then to your Lord you will be returned."

Arabic text

(32:11) قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُم مَّلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ

Connected ayats

(4:97) Those whom the angels take, while they had wronged themselves; were asked, "What situation were you in?" They responded, "We were oppressed on earth." They asked, "Was Allah's earth not wide enough that you could journey in it?" To these their abode will be Samsara; what a miserable destiny;

(6:61) He is Who ( possesses) Cunning, and (abides) ahead His obedients, and sends guardians for you. And when death comes unto any of you, Our messengers put him to death, and they do not (make) omission.

(16:32) Those whom the angels take, while they had been good, they will say, "Peace be upon you, enter paradise because of what you have done."

(45:15) Whoever works good does so for himself, and whoever works evil will suffer it. Then to your Lord you will be returned.
