Al-Ma'ida ("The Table Spread")

Dynamic translation

(5:117) "I told them nothing but what you told me to do: "Obey Allah , my Lord, and your Lord. I was a witness of them while I was in their midst. But when You laid me to rest, You watched over them. In fact, You are the Witness of all things."

(5:117) مَا قُلۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِلَّا مَآ أَمَرۡتَنِي بِهِۦٓ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمۡۚ وَكُنتُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيدٗا مَّا دُمۡتُ فِيهِمۡۖ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيۡتَنِي كُنتَ أَنتَ ٱلرَّقِيبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ وَأَنتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
