Axiom - a principle, a proposition or postulat - a fundamental assumption that serves as a basis for deduction of theorems; a postulate (sometimes distinguished from postulates as being universally applicable, whereas postulates are particular to a certain science or context).
Etymology
The triliteral root qāf sīn mīm (ق س م) according to corpus.quran.com occurs in the Quran 33 times.
Compare with Ancient Greek - «ἀξίωμα» - "that which is thought fit, a requisite; that which is thought worthy; a self-evident principle, axiom".
Compare with rus. «Кади» (qāḍī, qazi, cadi, kadi, or kazi, кази, казый) - "is the magistrate or judge of a sharīʿa court, scholar of Islamic State Doctrine, primarily judicial".
Compare quranic «yaqḍī - يَقْضِي» (yaqḍī, yaqzī, eqzī) - "he judges", with en. «he examines», from en. «he examines» - "to observe or inspect carefully or critically; to check the health or condition; to determine the aptitude, skills or qualifications, to interrogate".
Compare en. «he examines» - "to observe or inspect carefully or critically; to check the health or condition; to determine the aptitude, skills or qualifications, to interrogate", to quranic «أَقْسَمُوا - aqsamū» - "declared, claim, утверждали (от аксиома)", and compare to en. «axiom» - "a statement or principle that is generally accepted to be true, but need not be so, a formal statement or principle in mathematics". See Decree.
Compare quranic «احْكُمْ - uh’kum» - "judge, суди, судить", to rus. экзамен, and to en. exam. See Wise.
