Dynamic translation
(11:8) And even if We alienate the Torment from them for a few days, they will surely say: What keeps it? Verily on the day when it befalls them nothing will avert it, and it will surround (or smite) them with that which they have mocked.

(11:8) وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ مَّعْدُودَةٍ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُ أَلاَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ

(11:8) وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِلَىٰ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُ أَلاَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ
Lego concept
1. Compare expression «وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِلَىٰ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ» from (11:8), with expression «لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ» from (17:62).
2. Compare expression «مَا يَحْبِسُهُ أَلاَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ» from (11:8), with expression «اللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ» from (2:105).
3. Compare expression «لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُ» from (11:8), with expression «يَأْكُلْنَ مَا قَدَّمْتُمْ لَهُنَّ» from (12:48), and with expression «فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ» from (11:46).
