(15:60) "Except for his wife, we have measured that she will be with those destroyed."
Arabic text
(15:60) إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Connected ideas
(7:83) We saved him and his family, except for his wife; she was of those who lagged behind.
(26:170-171) And so We saved him and his family-all of them, except for an old woman who remained.
(27:57) So We saved him and his family, except for his wife, for We found her to be of those who will remain.
(29:32) He said, "But Lot is in it!" They said, "We are fully aware of who is in it. We will save him and his family, except his wife; she is of those doomed."
(29:33) Thus when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. They said, "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed."
(37:134-135) Then We saved him, and his family-all of them, except an old woman who remained.
(66:10) And for those who (show) denial, Allah gives (as an) example Noah's wife, and Lot's wife. They (both) were under the (protection of Our two) righteous obedients, but betrayed them, and did not (wish) to avail themselves of any Divine (graces). They were told, "Enter the Fire together with (all) those who enter.
