Dynamic translation
(35:45) If Allah were to ask people for what they acquire, there would not be a (single) living creature left after (the demand), but He (grants) them a reprieve until the appointed time. Their term will come, and Allah sees His obedients.

(35:45) وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا
