Al-Ma'ida ("The Table Spread")

Dynamic translation

(5:12) And Allah certainly took a covenant from the Children of Israel. We appointed twelve leaders from among them. And Allah said, "Verily, I am with you only if you establish Prayer, (handing out) the Cleansing Fee, (showing) trust in My Messages, burdening yourselves with them, and crediting Allah - with good credit. Then I will remove your anxieties, and bring you into the genetics nourished by those Days that (became) its forerunners. But those of you who (manifest) denial after this will surely delude from the balanced path.

(5:12) وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ وَبَعَثۡنَا مِنۡهُمُ ٱثۡنَيۡ عَشَرَ نَقِيبٗاۖ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمۡۖ لَئِنۡ أَقَمۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَيۡتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرۡتُمُوهُمۡ وَأَقۡرَضۡتُمُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَلَأُدۡخِلَنَّكُمۡ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمۡ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
