Al-Ma'ida ("The Table Spread")

Dynamic translation

(5:13) We cursed them, lest they (henceforth) break their covenant, making their hearts callous. They pervert the Formulas, contrary to their etymons, and forget a part, of those (principles) through which (the) methodology operates. And thou wilt constantly discover their treachery, except for some of them. Have mercy on them, and (show) delicacy. Truly, God loves the Improveers.

(5:13) فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمۡ لَعَنَّٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا قُلُوبَهُمۡ قَٰسِيَةٗۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلۡكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَنَسُواْ حَظّٗا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِۦۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّنۡهُمۡۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱصۡفَحۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
