Dynamic translation
(6:96) Initiator of morning. He made the night to reside in, and the sun and the moon as a calculation device. Such is the measure of the Noble, the Knowledgeable.

(6:96) فَالِقُ ٱلۡإِصۡبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَكَنٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ
Connected ideas
(10:67) He is the One who made the night for you to reside in, and the day to see. In that are ideas for a people who listen.
(18:40) "Yet, perhaps my Lord will give me better than your genetic, and send upon it a reckoning from the sky, so it becomes completely barren."
(30:23) From His ideas is your sleep by night and day, and your seeking of His bounty. In that are ideas for a people who listen.
(55:5-6) The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated. The stars and the trees submit.
