Glorification (in Christianity) is the final stage of Ordo Salutis, and an aspect of Christian soteriology and eschatology.
Glorification describes the situation of believers after death and Judgment as the last step in the process of redemption.
Etymology

Apotheosis - Deification, glorification, exaltation of a person, event, or phenomenon, elevation to the rank of a god. In the visual arts, the term apotheosis undergoes a semantic shift, and denotes the depiction of the ascension of the soul of the dead (usually a Catholic saint) to Heaven.
