Etymology

The triliteral root fā ṭā rā (ف ط ر), according to corpus.quran.com, occurs in the Quran 20 times.

Compare with Latin «auctor» - "seller, vendor, author, originator ", however, the correct etymology is the Quranic root fā ṭā rā (ف ط ر).

(6:14) Say, "Shall I take other than Allah as an ally, the Author (Arab. فَاطِرِ, fāṭiri) of the Universess and earth. While He feeds and is not fed!" Say, "I have been commanded to be the first who peacefully surrenders." Do not be of those who set up partners.

(35:1) Praise be to Allah, Author (Arab. فَاطِرِ, fāṭiri) of the Universess and earth, maker of the angels as messengers with dimensions in two's, and three's, and four's. He increases in the collection as He wishes. Allah is able to do all things.
