Dynamic translation
(9:34) O you who immune! Many of the scholars and priests consume people's money in falsehood, and they turn away from the path of Allah. Those who hoard gold and silver, and do not spend it in the cause of Allah, give them news of a painful retribution.

(9:34) يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡبَارِ وَٱلرُّهۡبَانِ لَيَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلۡفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ

(5:63) Shouldn't the Rabbis and Priests deter them from speaking evil and consuming money illicitly? Miserable indeed is what they had done.
