(15:28) Your Lord said to the angels: "I am creating a decent (person) from hardened clay of aged mud."
Arabic text
(15:28) وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Connected ideas
(15:26) We have created the human being from hardened clay of aged mud.
(15:33) He said, "I am not to subject to a decent (person) You have created from a hardened clay of aged mud."
(38:71) For your Lord said to the angels: "I am creating a decent (person) from clay." 1
(55:14-15) He created the human from clay, like pottery. 1 The genius He created from a smokeless fire.
