Dynamic translation
(10:5) He is the One who made the sun an illuminator, and the moon a light, and He measured its phases so that you would know the number of the years and the calculation. Allah has not created this except for truth. He details the ideas for a people who know.

(10:5) هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاء وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

(10:5) هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاء وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَاظِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
Connected ayats
(9:11) But if they repent, and (they) establish Consolidation, and give Zakat, then (they) become your brothers in (paying) Debt. And We set up Our ideas for a knowledgeable nation.
(17:12) We made the night and the day as two ideas, so We erased the idea of night and We made the idea of day manifest, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and that you may know the number of the years and the count. Everything We have detailed meticulously.
(39:5) He created the heavens and the earth with truth. He rolls the night over the day, and He rolls the day over the night. He committed the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. Absolutely, He is the Noble, the Forgiving.
(9:36) In fact, Allah has twelve months - it was ordained by Allah on the day (when) Heaven and Earth were created. Four (months) of them are harmful. Such is the stable (reckoning of) Debt, and therefore do not (act) unjustly (toward) yourselves in them. But fight those who divide wholeheartedly, just as they fight you wholeheartedly. But know that Allah is with the responsible.
(71:16) "He made the moon to illuminate in them, and He made the sun to be a lit flame?"
(55:5-6) The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated.The stars and the trees submit.
(36:38) The sun runs to a specific destination, such is the design of the Noble, the Knowledgeable.
