(10:83) Because of their fear from Pharaoh and his leaders that he would persecute them, none acknowledged Moses from his people except some of their descendants. Pharaoh was high in the land, and he was of the tyrants.

(10:83) فَمَا آمَنَ لِمُوسَى إِلاَّ ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِ عَلَى خَوْفٍ مِّن فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِمْ أَن يَفْتِنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
