Dynamic translation
(14:10) The messengers said to them, "Do you really doubt Allah, the Creator of heaven and earth? He calls you to forgive your sins and grant you a reprieve until the appointed time. They said, "You are human beings like us. You want to lead us away from what our fathers obeyed. Give us a clear proof.

(14:10) قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى قَالُواْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Connected ideas
(34:43) And when Our generalized ideas are recited to them, they say, "But this is but a man seeking (to) hinder you, contrary to that which your fathers obeyed. And they say, "This is but a made-up fiction". And they say to those who (exhibit) denial of the Truth when it is revealed to them, "It is nothing but a manifest drug addiction!"
