Dynamic translation

(17:68) Do you not immune that He may cause part of the land to swallow you up, or cause a hurricane of stones to fall on you? For then you will not find a guardian and a keeper!

(17:68) أَفَأَمِنتُمْ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمْ جَانِبَ الْبَرِّ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ وَكِيلاً

Connected ideas

(67:16-17) Are you immune that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up? For then it will vibrate. Are you immune that He who is in heaven will not send a hurricane of stones upon you? Soon you will know what My warning is!
