Surah Al-Isra (The Night Trip)

Dynamic translation

(17:73) They nearly diverted you from what We inspired to you so that you would fabricate something different against Us, and then they would have taken you as a friend!

(17:73) وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ وَإِذًا لاَّتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلاً

(4:125) And whose (payment of) debt could be more beautiful than the one in which (man) vassaled his face to Allah, being ethical, and followed Abraham's religion - monotheism? For (of all), Allah recognized Abraham - the influencer.
