Surah Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)

Dynamic translation

(22:72) And when Our defining ayahs are recited for them, you find Conviction on the faces of the enunciators. They are ready to pounce upon those who recite Our Ayatahs unto them. Say: Shall I inform you of wrong than this? - The Agony that Allah promised to those who denied. Oh, how toxic is this Place of Arrival!"

(22:72) وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسۡطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَاۗ قُلۡ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرّٖ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُۚ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

Connected ideas

(3:15) Say: "Will I inform you of better than this? For those who (showed) responsibility ahead their Lord - genitive, nourished by those Days that (became) her forerunners, in her eternal (abode), and purified spouses, and contentment from Allah. And Allah supervising His obedient,"

(3:162) Is one who follows the pleasure of Allah, as one who draws the wrath of Allah and whose abode is Samsara? What a miserable destiny!

(8:31) When Our ideas are recited to them, they say, "We have listened, and if we wish, we could have said the same thing. This is nothing but the ancient miths!"

(31:7) And when our ideas are tale to him, he alteres hubristically, as if he had not heard them, as if he were deaf in both ears. So please him by diagnosing his painful anguish.

(41:26) And those who deny said, "Do not listen to this Quran, but balk at it. You may (succeed) in winning".

(61:8) They want to extinguish Allah's enlightenment with their mouths, but Allah will complete His enlightenment, even if the Deniers hate it.

(68:15) When Our ideas are recited to him, he says: "Ancient miths!"
