Surah An-Nur (The Light)

Dinamic translation

(24:62) Indeed, those who have trusted are those who (show) trust in Allah, and in His messenger. And when they find themselves with him in common cause, they do not leave (the assembly) until they (ask) his permission. For those who (ask) your permission - such is their (manifestation of) trust in Allah, and His messenger. And when they (ask) your approval concerning some of their situations, approve those of them to whom you wish, and (ask) Allah for their forgiveness. For Allah is a forgiving, merciful Allah.

(24:62) إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَإِذَا كَانُوا مَعَهُ عَلَى أَمْرٍ جَامِعٍ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا حَتَّى يَسْتَأْذِنُوهُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَإِذَا اسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِبَعْضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْذَن لِّمَن شِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمُ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Connected ideas

(8:2-3-4) The acknowledgers are those whom, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble; when His ideas are recited to them, it strengthens their acknowledgement; and they put their trust in their Lord. They hold the contact prayer, and from Our provisions to them they spend. These are the true acknowledgers; they will have ranks at their Lord, forgiveness, and a generous provision.

(62:11) If they come across any trade, or some entertainment, they rush to it and leave you standing, say, "What Allah possesses is far better than entertainment or trade. Allah is the best Provider."
