Surah Al-Furqan (The Criterion)

Dynamic translation

(25:63) And the obedient of the Merciful are those who tread the earth humbly, and when the Ignorant disputes with them, they talk (with them) calmly.

(25:63) وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا

Connected ideas

(3:17) The patient, the truthful, the devout, the givers, and the seekers of forgiveness in the late periods of the night.

(17:28) If you turn away from them to seek a mercy from your Lord which you desire, then say to them a gentle saying.

(18:7) We have made what is on earth an adornment for it, so that We will test them as to who is better in deeds.

(25:72) Those who do not bear false witness, and if they pass by vain talk they pass by with dignity.

(43:89) But keep away from them delicately, and speak peacefully. Soon they (will be) acquainted.

(76:6) Allah's obedient will drink from the fountain that pours forth abundantly.
