(9:104) Or don't they know that it is Allah who accepts Repentance from His obedients, and accepts Sacrifice, and that it is Allah who is the Receiver of Repentance, the Merciful?

(9:104) أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقۡبَلُ ٱلتَّوۡبَةَ عَنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأۡخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Connected ideas
(57:10) What is wrong with you? Why do you not spend in the way of Allah, while to Allah (belongs) the inheritance of Heaven and Earth. Those of you who expended and fought before the fitting are not equal. These are greater in degree than those who expended and fought afterwards. But to each of them God has promised the best, For Allah is aware of what you are doing.
