Horizon
The triliteral root hamza fā qāf (أ ف ق) occurs in the Quran 3 times.
(53:7) While he was at the highest horizon (Arab. بِالْأُفُقِ, bil-ufuqi).
(81:23) He saw him by the clear horizon (Arab. بِالْأُفُقِ, bil-ufuqi).
Signs in the horizons, and within themselves
(41:53) We will show them Our signs in the horizons (Arab. الْآفَاقِ, l-āfāqi), and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is witness over all things?
