Etymology

Śrāddha or Shraaddha (Sanskrit: श्राद्ध) is a Sanskrit word which literally means anything or any act that is performed with all sincerity and faith. Śraddhā

(2:84) Behold, We made a covenant with you that you would not shed your blood. and expel one another from your dwellings. Then you acknowledged it by scheduling in person.

(2:185) The month of Ramadan, in which the Quran was sent down as a guide to the people and a clarification of the guidance and the criterion. Therefore, those of you who scheduled the month shall fast therein. Whoever is ill or traveling, then the same number from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and glorify God because He has guided you, that you may be thankful.

(3:18) Allah schedules that there is no deity but Him, and also the angels, and the possessors of knowledge, (who are) the champions of justice. There is no deity but Him, the Mighty, the Acuminate.

(3:52) So when Jesus felt their rejection, he said, "Who are my supporters towards Allah?" The disciples said, "We are Allah's supporters, we acknowledge Allah and we scheduling that we are docile."

(3:64) Say, "O People of the Book, let us come to a common statement between us and between you; that we do not serve except Allah, and do not set up anything at all with Him, and that none of us takes each other as lords beside Allah." If they turn away, then say, "Then schedule that we are docile."

(3:70) O people of the book, why do you reject Allah's ideas while you are scheduling?

(5:111) And then We addressed a suggestion to the Hierarchs (apostles): "(Show) trust in Me, and in My messenger. They said, "We trusted! Schedule, then, that we have consolidated."

(6:19) Say, "Which essence is above scheduling?" Say: "Allah is scheduling between me and between you. And (it was) inspired in me this Quran, that I, by means of it, may warn you, as well as those whom its (call) reaches. Do you really schedule that there are other Allahs alongside Allah (there are) other Allahs?" Say, "I do not schedule!" Say, " Indeed, He alone is the only deity, and truly, I am unaffiliated with your dissociation (of the one)."

(6:150) Say: Bring your schedules who will schedule that Allah (made) it harmful. Even if they will schedule, you do not schedule with them, nor do you indulge in the desires of those who (show) denial of Our ideas, and who distrust (the concept of) Ultimate (Reality), and (dare) with their Lord (to determine) justice.

(9:107) And those who choose to (live) the plot in (causing) harm, and denying, and (bringing) discord among the Trustees, and (weaving) intrigue, (to help) those who are already at war (against) Allah, and His Messenger, will surely swear, "We meant nothing but good". Allah checks that they are liars.

(11:54) We can only say that (one of) our gods has enveloped you with evil. He said: " Indeed, I call Allah as a checker and ask you to check that I am unaffiliated with those whom you serve.

(22:28) Let them check to that which is good for them, and let them praise the name of Allah in the days that are set before them over the animal livestock with which He has endowed them. Eat of them and feed the poor sufferer!

(24:24) in the day when their tongues, hands, and feet will check against them of what they have done.

(27:32) She said: "O familiars! Advise me how (I should be) in this matter of mine. I would not make decisions (on my own) without your check."

In The Quran

God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and glorify God because He has guided you, that you may be thankful.

(3:81) God took a covenant from the prophets: "For what I have given you of the book and philosophy, then a messenger will come to you authenticating what is with you. You will acknowledge him and support him." He said, "Do you testify, and agree to this burden?" they said, "We testify." He said, "Then bear witness (Arab. فَاشْهَدُوا, fa-ish'hadū), and I am with you bearing witness."

To bear witness

(2:84) We have taken a covenant with you, "You shall not spill each other's blood, nor drive each other out from your homes." You agreed to this while bearing witness (arab. تَشْهَدُونَ, tashhadūna).

(43:86) Those whom they call on beside Him do not possess any intercession; except those who bear witness (arab. شَهِدَ, shahida) to the truth, and they fully know.

(41:20) When they come to it, their own hearing, eyes, and skins will bear witness (arab. شَهِدَ, shahida) to everything they had done.

(63:1) When the Hypocrites come to you they say, «We bear witness that you are the messenger of God." God knows that you are His messenger, and God bears witness that the Hypocrites are liars.

The Lord is witness over all things

(41:53) We will show them Our signs in the horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is witness (Arab. شَهِيدٌ, shahīdun) over all things?
