God's covenant with prophets

(3:81) God took a covenant (Arab. مِيثَاقَ, mīthāqa) from the prophets: "For what I have given you of the book and philosophy, then a messenger will come to you authenticating what is with you. You will acknowledge him and support him." He said, "Do you testify, and agree to this burden?" they said, "We testify." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you bearing witness."

(33:7) When We took from the prophets their covenant (Arab. مِيثَاقَهُمْ, mīthāqahum). From you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary; We took from them a strict covenant (Arab. مِيثَاقًا, mīthāqan).

God's covenant with the Children of Israel

(2:83) We took the covenant (Arab. مِيثَاقَ, mīthāqa) of the Children of Israel, "You shall not serve except God, and regard your parents, and regard the relatives, and the orphans, and the poor, and say kind things to the people, and observe the Contact prayer, and contribute towards betterment."
