Etymology
From Latin Iēsus, from Ancient Greek Ἰησοῦς (Iēsoûs), from Biblical Hebrew יֵשׁוּעַ (yēšū́aʿ), a contracted form of יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (yəhōšū́aʿ, “Joshua”). Perhaps from הוֹשֵׁעַ (hōšḗaʿ, “Hosea”) with the "addition" of יהוה (“Yahweh”). The masculine singular imperative of הוֹשִׁיעַ (hoshía', “to save”). Attested to in Akkadian as Akkadian Aušia.
In The Quran
(4:163) We have inspired you as We have inspired Noah and the prophets after him. We inspired Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon; and We have given David psalms.
Jesus - Ayatollah
(19:21) He said, "It is such that your Lord has said, it is easy for Me. We shall make him a sign for the people and a mercy from Us. It is a matter already ordained."
(23:50) We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and We gave them refuge on high ground, a place for resting and with a water spring
Jesus is the Messiah and the Word from God
(3:45) The Angels said, "O Mary, God gives good news of a word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. Honorable in this world and in the Hereafter, and from among those who are made close."
Jesus's mission
(2:87) We gave Moses the book, and after him, We sent the messengers. Later We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear proofs, and We advocated Him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that every time a messenger comes to you with what your minds do not desire, you become arrogant? A group of them you deny, and a group of them you kill!
(4:171) O People of the Book, do not overstep in your system, nor say about God except the truth. The Messiah Jesus the son of Mary was no more than God's messenger and the fulfillment of His word to Mary, and an inspiration from Him. So acknowledge God and His messengers, and do not say, "Trinity." Cease, for it is better for you. God is only One god, be He glorified that He should have a son! To Him is all that is in the heavens and what is in the earth. God is enough as a caretaker.
(5:46) And We sent on their footsteps Jesus the son of Mary, authenticating what was present with him of the Torah. We gave him the Injeel, in it is guidance and a light, and to authenticate what is present with him of the Torah, and a guidance and lesson for the righteous.
(5:110) Allah said, "O Jesus son of Mary, recall My blessings upon you and your mother that I advocated you with the Holy Spirit. You spoke to the people in the cradle and in old age. And I taught you the Book and the Philosophy, and the Torah, and the Injeel. And you would create from clay the shape of a bird, then blow into it and it becomes a bird by My leave. And you heal the blind and the leper by My leave, and you brought out the dead by My leave. I have restrained the Children of Israel from you, that you came to them with clear proofs, but those who rejected amongst them said, "This is an obvious magic!"
(61:6) When Jesus, son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, I am God's messenger to you, authenticating what is present with me of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be Ahmad.'" But when he showed them the clear proofs, they said, ‘This is clearly magic.
