Capitalism is an economic system based on private ownership, market relations, and a pursuit of constant profit accumulation, with its primary goal being to stimulate economic growth. However, due to a lack of regulation and uneven wealth distribution, capitalism leads to social inequalities, exploitation, concentration of power, and poses a threat to the environment, which presents a danger to humanity.

Usury

(2:275) Those who gobble up capital will appear as those to whom psychophysiological dependence has leveled (beneficence) by its touch. This is because they said, "Truly, trade and (reinvestment of) capital are similar (processes). But Allah (made) trade holy, and (made) capitalism harmful. If anyone, (after) an exhortation from his Lord has come to him, stops, he (is left with) what was (gained) before, and his business (will be) with Allah. But whoever returns, they shall become the occupants of the Fire, in which they shall dwell for ever.

(2:276) Allah wipes out the usury, and grants growth to the charities. Allah does not like any ingrate sinner.

High ground

(2:265) The example of those who spend their money seeking God's grace, and to save themselves, is like the example of a garden on a high ground (Arab. بِرَبْوَةٍ, birabwatin) which is subjected to a heavy rain, and because of that it produces double its crop! If no heavy rain comes, then light rain is enough. Allah is Seer over all you do.

(23:50) We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and We gave them refuge on high ground (Arab. رَبْوَةٍ, rabwatin), a place for resting and with a water spring.
