Inspiration

The triliteral root wāw ḥā yā (و ح ي) occurs in the Quran 78 times.

(3:44) This is from the news of the unseen that We inspire (Arab. نُوحِيهِ, nūḥīhi) to you. You were not with them when they drew straws as to which one of them will be charged with Mary; you were not with them when they disputed.

(20:114) Then exalted (above all) is God, the King, the Truth. Do not be hasty with the Quran before its inspiration (Arab. وَحْيُهُ, waḥyuhu) is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase my knowledge."

Noah's inspiration

(11:37) "Construct the Ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration (Arab. وَوَحْيِنَا, wawaḥyinā), and do not address to Me regarding those who are wicked. They will be drowned."

(23:27) So We inspired (Arab. فَأَوْحَيْنَا, fa-awḥaynā) him: "Construct the Ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration (Arab. وَوَحْيِنَا, wawaḥyinā). Then, when Our command comes and the geyser erupts, then you shall take on the Ship two from every pair, and your family; except for those of them upon whom the word has come. Do not address Me regarding those who have done wrong, for they will be drowned."
