Signs for people who are certain

(45:4) In your creation, and creatures that He disperses, are signs for a people (Arab. لِقَوْمٍ, liqawmin) who are certain.

People of allegorical thinking

(13:3) And He is the One who solidified The Earth (crust), established on it mountain ranges and rivers, and from every fruit He made on it, a pair of two. He (causes) the night to cover the day. Verily, in that are (solid) signs for a people (Arab. لِقَوْمٍ, liqawmin) who use allegorical thinking.

Replacing by some other people

(47:38) Here you are being invited to spend in the cause of God, but some among you turn stingy. Whoever is stingy is only being stingy on himself. God is the Rich, while you are the poor. If you turn away, He will replace you with another people (Arab. قَوْمًا, qawman), then they will not be like you.

(9:39) If you do not march forth, then He will punish you with a painful retribution, and He will replace you with another people (Arab. قَوْمًا, qawman), and you do not bother Him in the least. God is capable of all things.

Despotic inhabitants

(5:22) They said, "O Moses, there are despotic inhabitants (Arab. قَوْمًا, qawman) in there. And indeed, we will not enter it, until they leave from it. So when they leave, then certainly, we will enter it."
