Dynamic translation

(17:33) Do not kill, for Allah has made this forbidden, except in the course of justice. Whoever is killed unjustly, then We have given his heir authority. Since he received help let him not transgress in the taking of a life.

(2:178) O you who trust! You are enjoined Retribution for Murder: the Fallen for the Fallen, the obedient for the obedient, Femininity for Femininity. But if (the murderer) is completely pardoned by his brother, you should act according to your conscience and pay him back in kind. Such is the relief from your Lord and (His) mercy. But he who afterwards transgresses the boundaries, (befall) painful torment.

(5:32) It is because of this that We have decreed for the Children of Israel, "Anyone who kills a person who has not committed murder, or who has not committed mischief in the land; then it is as if he has killed all the people! Whoever spares a life, then it is as if he has given life to all the people." Our messengers had come to them with clarification, but many of them are, after this, still transgressing on the earth.

(8:57) So, when you encounter them in battle, set them as an example to those who would come after them; perhaps they may remember.
