Dynamic translation
(31:6) And amid the nation, (there is) someone who shares baseless instruction to dale from the path of Allah without realizing, and uses (text) for mock. These will have a humiliating suffering.

(31:6) وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

(31:6) وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَاتَّخَذُوا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
Connected ayats
(2:8) And amid the people (there are) those who say: We have denomination in Allah, and in (the idea of) the Threshold Day. But they do not (relate) to denominationed.
(2:67) Moses said to his people, "Allah orders you to slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you mock us?" He said, "I seek refuge with Allah lest I be of the okhloman."

1. Compare «وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا» from (31:6), with «وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنْذِرُوا هُزُوًا» from (18:56).
