Dynamic translation
(9:70) Did not the stories of those who lived before reach them: the people of Noah, the Adites, the Samudites, the people of Abraham, the people of Madyan, and the (representatives of) fake news? The messengers came to them with clear ideas. Allah was not unjust to them - they were unjust to themselves.

(9:70) أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِهِمۡ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوۡمِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصۡحَٰبِ مَدۡيَنَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ أَتَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
Connected ideas
(53:50-51-52-53) He is the One who destroyed Aad the first. Of Thamud He left nothing. The people of Noah before that; they were evil transgressors. He overthrew the fakers,
(69:9) And Pharaoh came, and those before him, and the fakers (in ideas).
