Dedicate

The root jīm hā dāl (ج ه د) is used in Quran 41 times.

(2:218) Indeed, those who have immune, and those who emigrated, and dedicated to the Way of Allah, hope for the mercy of Allah. And Allah is a forgiving, compassionate Allah.

(3:142) Or did ye reckon that ye would enter the Genesis until Allah knew which of you were dedicate to him, and knew (who exercised) sobriety?

(5:35) O those who have immune! (Be) caution (to) Allah, and seek the way to Him, and dedicate to His way, that you may succeed.

(5:54) O those who have immune! Whosoever of you turn away from (paying) his debt, soon, Allah will appear with a people whom He loves and loves Him, meek before those who immune, steadfast before those who deny, dedicate to the way of Allah, and not fearful of the censure of those who censure. This is the condescension of Allah, which He shows to those whom He wills. And Allah is the informer, the Knower!
