Intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge without recourse to conscious reasoning. Different fields use the word "intuition" in very different ways, including but not limited to: direct access to unconscious knowledge, unconscious cognition, inner sensing, inner insight to unconscious pattern-recognition, and the ability to understand something instinctively, without any need for conscious reasoning.

The word intuition comes from the Latin verb intueri translated as "consider" or from the late middle English word intuit, "to contemplate".

The triliteral root fā hamza dāl (ف أ د), according to corpus.quran.com, occurs in the Quran 16 times.

Intuition is from childhood for human

(16:78) God brought you out of your mothers’ wombs while you knew nothing. He made for you the hearing and the eyesight and the intuition (Arab. وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ, wal-afidata), perhaps you would be thankful.

God divert intuition and eyesight

(6:110) And We divert their intuition (Arab.. أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ, afidatahum) and eyesight, as they did not trust it the first time. And We leave them wandering in their transgression.
