Life is an active form of matter existence, in a sense superior to its physical and chemical forms of existence.

The concept of life can be defined more or less precisely only by enumerating the qualities that distinguish it from non-life. At the moment there is no consensus on the concept of life, but scientists generally recognize that the biological manifestation of life is characterized by: organization, metabolism, growth, adaptation, response to stimuli and reproduction. It can also be said that life is a characteristic of the state of an organism.

"Hayat" - "Life" - from Sanskrit "jiva" (जीव, jīva) is a concept in the Indian religious and philosophical tradition denoting a spiritual, eternal living being, a separate soul. The word jiva is derived from the Sanskrit root of the verb jīv, translated as "to breathe or live. Jiva as a metaphysical entity? is described in various texts such as the Bhagavad-gita, the Upanishads, and the Vachanamrut (teachings of the Swaminarayana). The Russian word for "life" as well as the Latin "vivus" all have the same, proto-Indo-European root.

Etymology

The triliteral root ḥā yā yā (ح ي ي) occurs in the Quran 184 times. The count does not take the name Yahya, which has the same root.

2. galvanize

The name of the ancient Greek goddess Gaia, goddess of Earth, according to myths, who gave birth to Uranus, from which she later gave birth to all life, comes from the Quranic root ḥā yā yā (ح ي ي). Gaia is considered the progenitor of all living and life as such.
