Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder)

Dynamic translation

(13:25) As for those who violate the accord of Allah after making its covenant, and they cut what Allah marshaled (to keep) in connection, and scathe on the earth. To those is a curse and they will have a miserable abode.

(13:25) وَالَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ اللّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ

Connected ideas

(2:27) who violate the accord with Allah, after it has been covenanted, and cut what Allah marshaled (to keep) in connection, and scathe on the earth. There are the losers.

(3:187) Allah took the covenant of those who were given the book: "You will proclaim to the people and not conceal it." However, they threw it behind their backs and purchased with it a cheap price. Miserable indeed is what they have purchased.
