Dynamic translation

(21:7) We have sent before you only men who were compelled (revelations). So ask the Possessors of Methodology, if you are in ignorance.

(21:7) وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

(21:7) وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلَكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Connected ideas

(5:47) Let the people of the Injeel judge with what Allah has sent down in it. Whoever does not judge by what Allah has sent down, then these are the vile ones.

(5:75) The Messiah, son of Mary, is no other messenger. The messengers (sent) before him had already passed away, and his mother (was) a righteous woman. Both were (required) to take food. See how We explain the ideas to them. Then look at their fake (degree).

(12:109) We have sent before you only men who were compelled (revelations), from the people of the towns. Would they not roam the earth and see what the punishment of those before them was? The abode of the Hereafter is far better for those who are aware. Do you not reason?

(16:43) We have sent before you only men who were compelled (revelations). So ask the Possessors of Methodology, if you are in ignorance.

(29:45) Read what is suggested to you from the Scriptures and establish synthesis. Indeed, synthesis keeps you from (doing) the abominable and reprehensible things. But the methodology (of abstraction) to Allah is (much) more important, and Allah is aware of what you are doing.

Compare «وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ» from (21:7), with «وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ» from (16:43). Note that in (21:7) there is no «مِن».
