Al-Baqara (The Heifer)

Dynamic translation

(2:129) Our Lord! And raise to them a messenger from among themselves, that he may recite to them Your signs and teach them the book and the philosophy, and purify them. You are the Noble, the Acuminate.»

Arabic text

(2:129) رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ

Connected

(2:151) As We have sent a messenger to you from among yourselves reciting Our signs to you, purifying you, and teaching you the book and the philosophy, and teaching you what you did not know.

(3:164) God has bestowed favor for the trusted when He raised to them a messenger from themselves reciting His signs, purifying them and teaching them the book and the philosophy, though they were before in manifest confusion.
