Adh-Dhariyat ("The Winnowing Winds")

(51:53) Have they passed down this saying to each other? Indeed, they are a wicked people.

(51:53) أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

Connected ideas

(9:30) The Jews said, "Ezra is Allah's son," and the Nazarenes said, "The Messiah is Allah's son." Such is their utterances with their mouths; they imitate the sayings of those who rejected before them. Allah's curse be on them. How fake they are!

(39:50) Those before them have said the same thing, yet what they earned did not help them in the least.

(54:2) If they see an idea, they turn away and say, "Continuous magic!"
