Dynamic translation

(10:88) Moses said, "Our Lord, you have given Pharaoh and his chiefs adornments and wealth in this worldly life so that they will misguide from Your path. Our Lord, wipe-out their wealth and bring grief to their hearts so that they will not acknowledge until they see the painful retribution."

Arabic text

(10:88) وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلأهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالاً فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُواْ حَتَّى يَرَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ الأَلِيمَ

Connected ideas

(2:74) After that your hearts were hardened and became like stones, or even harder. Indeed, among the stones there are some that pour out rivers. Among them are those that cleave and pour out water. Among them are those that overthrow for fear of Allah. And Allah is not negligent in what you emulate.

(2:214) Or did you calculate that you would enter genetic before the like of that which your predecessors were (tested)? They were touched by misfortune and sorrow. They (experienced such) turmoil that the Messenger and those who trusted with him said, "When (will) Allah's help come?" So, indeed, Allah's help is near!"

(10:90) We helped the Children of Israel cross the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them out of hatred and animosity. But when drowning overtook him, he said, "I acknowledge that there is no Allah except the One in whom the Children of Israel acknowledge, and I am of those who have peacefully surrendered."

(25:30) And the Messenger said: "O Lord! Indeed, my community (have become) a candidate to adjourn this Quran.

(54:9-10) Before them the people of Noah considered a lie. They deemed Our obedient a liar, and said, "Genius, and a drug addict. So he called on his Lord: "I am beaten, so grant me victory."

(71:26-27) Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave on the earth any of the ingrates at all." If You forsake them, they will mislead Your obedients, and will breed (none) but foolish, denying ones.
