Dynamic translation

(3:148) So God gave them the reward of this world and the best reward of the Hereafter; and God loves the good doers."

Arabic text

(3:148) فَـَٔاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَحُسۡنَ ثَوَابِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Connected ideas

(2:200-201-202) ... Among the people are those who say, "Our Lord, give us from this world!", but in the Hereafter he has no part. Some of them say, "Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and spare us from the retribution of the fire." These will have a benefit for what they have gained. And Allah is quick in computing.

(3:145) It is not permitted for a person to die except by Allah's leave in an appointed record. Whoever wants the rewards of this world We give him of it, and whoever wants the reward of the Hereafter, We give him of it. We will reward the thankful.

(4:134) Whoever seeks the reward of this world: with Allah is the reward of this world and the Hereafter. Allah is Hearing, Watchful.

(7:32) Say: "Who (made) harmful the ornaments of Allah, which He brought out for His obedients, as well as the beautiful inheritance?" Say: "In the worldly life they are (intended) for those who trusted, but on the Day of Resurrection (they will be intended) exclusively (for them). Thus We clarify the ideas for people who know.

(38:49-50) This is a reminder, and the righteous will have a wonderful abode. The genetics of Eden, whose gates will be open for them.
