Taboo

A taboo or tabu, is a social group's ban, prohibition, or avoidance of something (usually an utterance or behavior) based on the group's sense that it is excessively repulsive, offensive, sacred, or allowed only for certain people. Such prohibitions are present in virtually all societies.

In the Quran

(4:155) So, for the infidelity of their covenant, and their rejection of Allah's ideas, and their devalvation of the Prophethood without justice, and their saying, "Our hearts are connected." Oh no! It is Allah who (placed) a taboo (Arab. طَبَعَ, ṭabaʿa) on them (on comprehending the ideas) because of their rejection. So they do not immune, except for a few.
