(2:88) They said, "Our hearts are connected!" Oh no! It is Allah who has cursed them for their rejection, for very little do they immune.

(2:88) They said, "Our hearts are uncircumcised/covered!" No, it is God who has cursed them for their rejection, for very little do they acknowledge.

(2:88) وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا أُلُوفٌ بَل لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّه بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلاً مَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Connected ideas
(4:155) So, for the infidelity of their covenant, and their rejection of Allah's ideas, and their devalvation of the Prophethood without justice, and their saying, "Our hearts are connected." Oh no! It is Allah who (placed) a taboo on them (on comprehending the ideas) because of their rejection. So they do not immune, except for a few.
